The two questions every workshop asks first

Worn markings and missing references are no barrier: machine details, photos and part numbers are enough to check the correct Koyo / JTEKT replacement.

What should I send when the bearing markings are worn?

Send the machine model, the bearing position, photos of any remaining markings and the mating parts around it. Add measured dimensions if your technician has them, plus quantity, destination country, postal code and the date you need the parts on site.

Can I include the machine part number?

Yes. Koyo / JTEKT bearing references are checked together with the machine model and part identification details. A machine manual, the existing bearing number or a repair parts list all work as a starting point.

Identifying the Model

A correct replacement starts from the machine and the original Koyo / JTEKT specification, not from dimensions alone.

I only know the machine model. Can you still identify the bearing?

Yes. The machine model is a valid starting point: send it with the bearing position and any photos you have. The replacement reference is checked against the machine identification and confirmed for the specific application before the quote is issued.

Why not just order a bearing with the same dimensions?

Because matching size does not guarantee a match for the original duty on mobile equipment. A bearing chosen by dimensions only can fit the housing and still be wrong for the position. Selection is discussed against the original Koyo / JTEKT specification, so the replacement suits how the bearing actually works in your machine.

Which assembly photos are most useful?

Photos of the bearing markings, the bearing in its installed position and the mating parts around it are the most useful. Together with your technician's measured dimensions, they close identification gaps and help confirm the complete assembly, so parts that need replacing together are not missed.

Quote Contents

Every KOYO Bearing Supplier quote is written and itemised, whether it covers one bearing position or a full repair list.

What does the written quote include?

The written quote states the product model, quantity, price and currency, stock status, estimated lead time and quote validity. It also lists applicable freight or tax terms and the product documents supplied with the order.

Quote fieldWhat it tells you
Model & quantityThe exact Koyo / JTEKT reference and count per line
Price & currencyUnit and line pricing in a stated currency
Stock & lead timeAvailability and estimated delivery timing
ValidityHow long the quoted terms hold
Freight / tax termsApplicable shipping and tax conditions
Product documentsDocuments supplied with the bearings
Can one bearing position and a full assembly be quoted together?

Yes. You can ask for a single bearing position or for every bearing a gearbox or axle repair needs, all in one enquiry. Quoting the complete assembly helps avoid a second shutdown caused by a mating part left off the repair list.

Can a mixed list from several machines or job sites be combined?

Yes. Tapered, spherical, cylindrical and needle roller bearings, deep groove ball bearings, and angular contact and thrust ball bearings can all go on one quote. Fleet operators and maintenance contractors use this to purchase for several machines in a single order. View all Koyo / JTEKT bearings

03

Substitutes & Changes

Nothing on your quote changes without your approval. Any substitute or technical change is identified separately and confirmed with you first.

Will you supply a substitute bearing?

Only if you accept one. Before quoting, you are asked whether a separately identified substitute is acceptable for the position. If it is, the substitute is shown as its own identified item rather than swapped in silently.

Who approves a technical change to the specification?

You do. Every technical change requires the buyer's approval before it goes on the quote. Your service manager keeps control of the repair scope, and your technician knows exactly what will be installed.

What happens if the identification is still incomplete?

The gaps are closed before the price is given. The exact specification and the complete assembly are confirmed with you first, so the written quote reflects the bearing your machine needs.

04

Delivery & Receiving

Shipping method, dispatch timing and transport documents are confirmed after you order. On arrival, you check labels, quantity and condition.

When are the shipping method and transport documents confirmed?

They are confirmed after you place the order. Once specification, quantity, delivery details, payment method and commercial terms are agreed, the shipping method, dispatch time and required transport documents are settled with you.

What should I check when the bearings arrive?

Check three things: the product labels, the quantity and the external condition. Compare labels and counts against the models listed on your written quote before parts go to the workshop.

What if something does not match my order?

Contact us with your order number and photos of the issue. A clear photo of the label, the packaging and the counted quantity lets the discrepancy be handled quickly by WhatsApp or email.

Still Unsure?

Your machine is not on this page? Send its details.

Planters, harvesters, sprayers, combines, excavators and wheel loaders all start the same way: machine model, bearing position and a photo of the old part.

"When a Koyo bearing failed on a harvest machine during the season, we needed a replacement urgently. The supplier identified the correct Koyo reference, shipped same-day, and the machine was back in the field within the day."
